7 days without sweets makes 1 weak!

Since I moved down to Florida in March, there has been one very harmful side effect. Stress eating. The stress of the move, the new job, finding a home, being without family and friends, blah blah blah caused me to gain a bunch of weight.

So, last week, I decided to stop eating sweets. No candy. No dessert. Nada. And today, it's been one week. I can truly say it's been torture. Not only do I have the bowl fulls of left over Halloween candy in the office and Charlie's bag of candy at home, we had a food day yesterday at work with tons and tons of desserts. My body has also been very unhappy with me and my lack of sugar/fuel.

But, I have prevailed. I can honestly say it seems like it's been a month, but it's only been a week. I still snack on pretzels, but I'm sticking to the "No Candy/No Sweets" rule as long as I can.

You snack on pretzels.

AND DINE ON DEATH!

BUAH HA HA HA HA!

[ahem]

I have a major sweet tooth. I LOVE candy.
I've been trying to be really good about not eating any. A little tip is that whenever you get a craving for sugar, it means your body needs protein. Try snacking on trail mix with nuts or beef jerky.
I also eat sugar free jello. It helps me be able to say no to Starbursts.

So does that mean that neither you nor Mo want any Christmas candy?

Charlie will be happy to take Randy's portion of candy!

Do not deny me of Christmas candy. I will hunt you down.

Nice work. I need to make the same rule...but don't have the strength.

Can't wait to see you guys next week!

OH. That was Trish. Not Tantrum. I do not speak for the group.

It was great to get to see you last night - I've missed you! I hope you enjoyed the show and really wish that you could be here for the "Best of" Monkeys in January.
