The Little Crib Climber
Charlie has discovered that he can climb out of his crib at Grandmama's house. She put him down for a nap, and then later heard him giggling. She peeked in, and he was sitting on the floor, playing with the miniblinds. She put him back in the crib, and he proceeded to demostrate his method for climbing out.
When we got home, I put him in his crib at home. Immediately, he began trying to climb out. He got his little leg up and actually straddled the side, but didn't go on over. I'm suspecting the difference in height between our crib and Grandmama's playpen crib concerned him a bit.
Of course, this brings a whole new level of stress to nap/sleep time, as I expect any night to hear a thud as he falls out of the crib. He's still too little to convert him to a toddler bed, so I guess we may have to invest in a crib tent.
What a little turkeybird!
