Maybe that's Kramer was saying????

Tonight, Charlie, Kim and I went to Popeye's for a chicken dinner. The Popeye's we went to is on Orange Blossom Trail, which is a diverse ethnic area in South Orange County.

When we sat down, I noticed someone had left a nickle on the table. After we got done eating, I took the nickel and gave it to Charlie, and told him it was a nickel. He was very excited and started saying, "Nickel Nickel Nickel Nickel Nickel".

Unfortunatley, when Charlie says Nickel, it doesn't come out quite right. Let's just say that the "ck" part comes out closer to a "g" sound, and the "l" on the end is left off. And no amount of coaching changed his pronunciation.

Needless to say, we hightailed out of Popeye's. Thankfully, the restaurant was mostly empty, and no one had heard him. In the car, I started calling the coin "five cents", which seemed to please Charlie enough that he stopped saying nickel.

And there ends the tail of how Charlie almost got us killed in Orlando.

Lol! It won't be the last time I'm sure. When my nephew AJ was younger, he loved his mom's pink watch. Of course, when he spoke about itit didn't come out like "pink watch" rather more like biatch. My brother, Nick, took great delight in asking AJ to talk about mom's pink watch.

This reminds me of when Bob's nephew (as a two or three year old) sat in his car seat and just started saying, "sh*t, sh*t, sh*t, sh*t, sh*t" over and over again while his older sister screamed in horror.
